Your readers should be informed that the District Attorney’s office dropped all charges against Ms. Randle on Feb. 22. During the four months fighting against the arrest and charges, Ms. Randle consistently maintained her innocence of any violations of the law. She was represented by Daro Inouye, a former San Francisco public defender. His ability to represent Ms. Randle is to be commended.The D.A.’s office finally acknowledged that an error was made and asked the court to dismiss all charges “in the interest of justice.” It is very unfortunate that Ms. Randle was subjected to publicity and scrutiny for an arrest that should never have occured in the first place.

yes, i agree there should be longer passing periods,because when i try to get to band all the way from the other side of the school i have to run and i cant even go to the bathrom so please lengthen our passing periods my school used to be five minutes but now it switched to four what is up with that!?

Good article by Ms. Hernandez and Mr. Medina.

As a Oakland Raider season ticket holder, I have seen a major change with how the team is performing on the football field, and how the organization is selling out home games on a consistent basis. It’s great that Oakland fans are gaining the confidence back. And I guess great that non-Raider fan are jumping the bandwagon.

I totally AGREE!! We need more passing period times esp. when your next class is at the new building and you gotta pee real bad and your teacher marks your tardy and gives you 40 min. detention for it! I demand more Passing period time!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the editors of the Aegis. Taken from the pages of your own newspaper back in 1971, “The High Cost of Being a Senior”. “This year the average Senior will have to spend in his senior year, $150 before he finally receives his graduation diploma.”

A leap from $150 to $3,000 over 40 years. Thought you’d get a kick out of that bit of trivia. Some inflation. We’re working on our 40 year reunion for April 16th . Go wildcats !
