Key Club advisor explains the club’s activities

Key Club is a service club. Students from any academy do voluntary community service, and outside of school, they go to service events.
On Oct. 20, members from Key Club went to Six Flags to meet with other members from different schools. Key Club does fundraisers so they could go on trips like Six Flags.
“I enjoy Key Club, and I’m glad to be their advisor,” said math teacher Justin Hobaugh, who became the club’s advisor this school year.
Key Club members have community building activities, meetings to plan future events, and news of Key Club. Each member is asked to perform a certain number of hours of services. One activity Key Club members participate in is members shouting out how they’re doing and dancing as a tradition in their meetings during lunch. Key Club has weekly meetings and is scheduled on Fridays at lunch. Anyone may join.
