Happy Halloween! Many teachers at Oakland High showed up to school in their costumes this Tuesday morning. After a long week of dressing up for homecoming, a lot of teachers were still able to get into the spooky spirit and dress up
“I used to dress up as Antigone because I teach it,” said English teacher Lara Trale. “I knew Ms. Forbes was going to be a wizard, so I just had to be a witch.”
“I’m Super Fly!” said English teacher Jariel Arvin. “I chose him because I’m always super fly.”
“I’m dressed up as a panda,” said Math teacher Justin Hobaugh, “All I had to do was black out my eyes, so it was an easy costume.”
“I’m the Mad Hatter because it’s fun!” said Jasmine Ng, who is a patient navigator for Asian Health Services at the Wellness Center.
“I’m a word wizard,” said English teacher Jessica Forbes. “That’s what English teachers do. When someone asks me a word I can whip up the definition with my magic wand!”
