O-High’s football team lost their first preseason game to Richmond’s Kennedy High School on Sept. 2. They played a home game at O-High and sadly lost.

The Wildcats were upset they they had so many touchdowns called back. Some of the players said how they had five touchdowns called back and some calls on the other team that should have been called but were not.

O-High players were also mad that they lost a game that their coach say they could’ve easily won, and should have won.

But Oakland High’s football team has shaken off that game. Now their record is 3-2.

About two weeks ago, the Wildcats played a last minute game against Millennium High from Tracy and they won that game 52-24.

The Wildcats will next play against Fremont High at Curt Flood Field on Saturday, 10/8. The JV game begins at 11 a.m. and the Varsity game begins at 1 p.m.
