Sam Seider started to teach chemistry at Oakland High in August 22.
Seider grew up in Wisconsin. Seider is passionate about science and helping young people.
Before he taught at Oakland High, he used to teach at Richmond High School, which is not a very diverse school, which is about 85% Hispanic.
Seider decided to teach at Oakland High because he missed teaching. He heard that Oakland High was hiring and there was one position was available so he decided to take the job.
Seider is enjoying Oakland High. He is having a good time, and said his experience is a “a 9.2.”
