The final chapter is coming

Gamemaker announces fourth Freddy’s

By Rodolfo Sanchez

On Monday, April 27 Scott Cawthon announced Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 with a teaser image on his website scottgames.com. This is just so amazing. I thought the series was over after the third game, since it told us the secret behind the murder, but I had also felt as though the series couldn’t be over yet because there were a lot of loose ends and secrets yet to be answered. The image suggests that this will be the final game in the series.

Included with the image in Cawthon’s website is the release date, 10/31/15–Halloween of this year. This could be possible since FNaF is a series of horror games and Halloween is all about the scares, but this could also be a trick.

I and the FNaF community know that Cawthon is a sneaky guy. Last time, he hinted in the source code that FNaF 2 was coming out on Christmas in 2014 but it came out more than a month earlier, on November 10 instead.

My prediction is that FNaF 4 will either take place in the first location of Freddy Fazbear Pizza or in Fredbear’s Family Diner, a location mentioned in FNaF 2. We might learn about the origins of a mysterious character named Golden Freddy, or the identity of the murderer. The internet is full of theories about this one teaser image.

Since so many gamers and fans finished FNaF 3 completely at the same day when it was released, I bet as soon FNaF 4 comes out, someone will complete it in hours if they have nothing to do on Halloween.

FNaF is the first franchise I’m really hyped for because we will get the final game of the series and Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to make a movie of FNaF in the future.

Can FNaF get more hyped than this? I don’t think it can. Well maybe, if they decide to make it an amusement park game or make the restaurant Freddy Fazbear Pizza real. If they do make the restaurant real, I’m getting a night shift job there because I’m a crazy fan and want to experience it in real life.

Fans on the Steam website, where Cawthon gives updates about the progress of the game, are eagerly waiting for more news. I don’t think we will get any updates within a month but I could be wrong. All we have to do now is wait.
