This year’s spirit week at Oakland High School took place on the last week of October. Monday was “Disney Day” and in the Senior Court, leadership class held lunchtime activity called “Disney Trivia.” For Tuesday’s “By The Sea” day, students dressed up in beach attire, as pirates, and as various sea creatures. The lunch-time activity was a obstacle course on the football field. Wednesday was class theme day as students from different grades dressed up from different time periods, representing the 1950s through 1980s. At lunch, students played “Name That Tune” on the Senior Court. On Friday’s “Class Color Day,” students dressed in colors representing their grade level, then cheered their classes at the Homecoming Rally.
