Wiz Khalifa delights with personality and with music

Wiz Khalifa is winning fans across the country with his gorgeous smile and his fantastic ability of rapping. He’s also winning the hearts of many women with his amazing looks.
One of his best songs, “Roll Up,” is such a relaxing song; if you really listening to this song you can predict that Khalifa loves making women satisfied by letting them know he’s there for them no matter what anyone says.
The song is part of his latest album, Rolling Papers, which dropped Mar. 29.
Khalifa was born Cameron Jibrill Thomaz, Sept. 8,1987, in North Dakota. He was raised by his mother and father, who were divorced when he was 3 years old. Khalifa traveled from country to country with his mother before settling in Pittsburgh.
One of Khalifa’s singles, “Black and Yellow,” which is dedicated to his hometown of Pittsburgh, has almost 3 million downloads.
In early May 2011, Khalifa’s album was at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 197,000 copies in its opening week. Impressive!
Khalifa cites Snoop Dogg, who is now his mentor, as a major influence. Khalifa may just become hip hop’s next crown prince.
Students here at Oakland High have their opinions on Khalifa as a rapper.
“I think he’s good for the youth,” said sophomore Kamry Bell.
However, some other students may think he’s not all that and a bag of chips.
“He can improve in a lot of things such as the way he rap and describe things in his music” said junior Andrelle Russell.
Overall, Rolling Papers is an outstanding album and deserves an A+. I think Khalifa represents himself in a positive way. Being a young artist, he will more than likely make it to the top fast by keeping up the good work.
